I liked today. It was stressful… but then again maybe I just get stressed too easily.

I’ll be taking film this semester. I have taken film before and I definitely liked it but it’s been a while and there are certain aspects that I’ve forgotten about it. I just know I can’t wait to smell those chemicals and be in my little corner with my enlarger listening to music.

Today’s assignment was to take a roll of film. It was a bit frustrating that I wasn’t able to plan every aspect of the shoot like I usually do. It was a sort of last minute, I have to get this done right NOW deal and I ended up being spontaneous with it I suppose. I also met someone new. She was nice enough to accept my invitation for me to take her picture and she is someone I would like to work with again.

My friend Buck and I walked around later that day and I also took his portrait and I let him take mine. Getting my picture taken could be one of the most nerve wrecking things.

I’m excited to see the results.

Work was pretty interesting. I had some deep conversations with some random people and it’s really the most interesting thing, hearing people talk about what’s important to them… their view in life and the kind of advice they have to offer me.

Who has been to uswirl? That place is great.
